Ben Armstrong is a Fellow at The Policy Lab, where he works on a variety of projects including the autonomous vehicle pilot in Providence, RI. He is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Taubman Center for American Politics and Policy in the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, where his research explores state and local responses to disruptive technologies such as Autonomous Vehicles.
Ben's other work focuses on economic development policies in places recovering from industrial decline. Ben also studies how higher education and the workforce are adapting to automation technologies. He holds a PhD in Political Science from MIT.
